Beryl's Bibles: Vanuatu Legacy
Expanding a legacy of faith and literacy to the children of Vanuatu, one Bible at a time.
Our Mission & Vision
Our mission is to deliver Bibles written in the local language of Bislama to children across Vanuatu on their 10th birthday. We have a clear 3-step plan to achieve this vision.
Our initial focus is to get a Bible into the hands of every 10-year-old on the island of Santo.
We will expand our reach to cover the entire country of Vanuatu, ensuring no child is left behind.
Our ultimate goal is to provide free literacy education to help bridge the literacy gap across the nation.
The Legacy of Beryl Combridge
Our mission was inspired by Beryl Combridge, a missionary and nurse who served in Vanuatu in the 1950s and 1960s. She began a personal legacy of providing her grandchildren with their own Bible on their 10th birthdays to aid in their walk with Jesus.
We are honored to take this beautiful, personal legacy and expand it to the children of the nation she so dearly loved. Her spirit of service and faith is the foundation upon which Beryl's Bibles is built.
